I see that you must be a leader to attend - what are the qualifications of leadership? The term ‘leader’ sums up many positions. You may be a paid staff member at your church, a pastor or associate pastor, an elder or deacon, head of a ministry, or a leader within your ministry. There are many areas of servitude that leader may fall into. Perhaps you are not yet a leader but one day hope to be. Your senior pastor will be the one to approve your registration, so be in communication with him or her regarding your leadership status, current or future, and fee free to go forward with the registration process.
I am not a leader as outlined by these specifications – may I still attend? This conference is specifically designed to assist church leaders in incorporating apologetics more intentionally within their ministries. At this time, you must be in leadership as described above.Please join the waiting list to receive an invitation to register based on availability. To be placed the waiting list: Click on the registration tab. Accept the registration terms and continue. Enter your contact information. Under ‘Area of Ministry’ select No Leader or No Ministry under the applicable ministry title.
Can I register over the phone? We have created a specialized registration system that may be accessed by clicking here. All registrations will be taken in this manner. If you experience any difficulty or have any questions, call the church office at 401-232-5200 Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Can I attend sessions in more than one track? This conference is tailored to specific leadership areas and will be most effective when you participate strictly within your designated area.
Is lunch provided? Lunch will be provided for those that register by October 20. They will be provided with a meal ticket when they check into the conference. This will not be available to those registering after said date, but we will provide an area map of the local restaurant options available.
Are there recommended materials or books for the conference? Registrants are not required to bring any special books but will potentially be able to download online resources and outlines prior to the conference.
What if my pastor doesn't receive the confirmation email? If you have notified your pastor of this email and he or she has not received it in their inbox, please instruct them to call our offices at 401-232-5200. By speaking directly with your senior pastor, we will accept their verbal approval of your leadership status.
