It is the committees intention to provide a 3 month follow-up contact to all who register on the Assessment and Comment Card at the closing of the conference. We want to provide further assistance for implementation of apologetics in your church and sphere of influence.
As you may recall, the PBS series, The Question of God, with C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud, was featured at the conference. This special was developed based on a course taught at Harvard by Dr. Armand Nicholi – a trailer can be viewed below:
Bill Smith, Director of the C.S. Lewis Institute Atlanta, has written a companion guide to the series. Conversations on The Question of God with Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis provides a distinctively Christian perspective for the viewer. It highlights C.S. Lewis’s position and gives a biblical understanding for the Christian worldview.
This guide together with the DVD can be an effective tool for small group conversations in churches, on campuses, and in homes. Some of the sessions include discussions on important topics such as: · Does it make sense to believe in God? · Can miracles really take place? · What is wrong with human beings? · Is there any such thing as right and wrong?
Presently, trainers are being prepared to lead those that are interested in a local, small group setting. These trainers are conveniently located throughout the New England region – no one will need to travel more than one hour to attend a session. These trainings are free and designed to equip and empower all Christians and small group leaders to become more confident and informed in the things of God.
